Baptisms are generally scheduled on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Saturday of each month at 10:00 am; 11:00am and Noon.

The Sacrament of Baptism washes away original sin. It also makes you a child of God and fills you with His sanctifying grace. As the priest blesses you, he purs water on your head then anoints you with holy oil. The Holy Spirit comes to you and gives you the gifts of wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, piety, fortitude and fear of the Lord. You are only baptized once. Without it you cannot receive any of the other sacraments. (CCC 1213-1284)

Requirements for Godparents for the Sacrament of Baptism

• Godparents must be active and practicing in the Catholic Church.
• Godparents must at least 16 yrs old.
• Godparent must be Confirmed in the Catholic Church.
• If a Godparents is married they have to been married in the Catholic Church. 

Documentation Requirements

• Copy of Confirmation Certificate
• Copy of Marriage Certificate issued by the Catholic Church 
• Letter of Good Standing from Priest of Home Parish

The Sacrament of Marriage is a covenant, which is more than a contract. Covenant always expresses a relationship between persons. The marriage covenant refers to the relationship between the husband and wife, a permanent union of persons capable of knowing and loving each other and God. The celebration of marriage is also a liturgical act, appropriately held in a public liturgy at church. Catholics are urged to celebrate their marriage within the Eucharistic Liturgy.

¿Qué es una Quinceañera?

La Quinceañera no es un Sacramento. Es una celebración tradicional de la vida y de agradecimiento a Dios en la ocasión de los 15 cumpleaños de una joven hispana. Este ritual le da énfasis al paso de niña a mujer. Usualmente, la familia pide una Misa o una bendición en la iglesia. Este ritual se celebra frecuentemente en varios países como México, en América Central, en Suramérica, y el Caribe. Los hispanos católicos en las diócesis de los Estados Unidos suelen pedir esta celebración.

REQUISITOS BÁSICOS PARA LA QUINCEAÑERA

• Presentar comprobante de Bautismo, Primera Comunión y Confirmación o estar registrada y asistiendo a clases para la Confirmación.
• Que la joven asista regularmente a la Santa Misas Dominical.
• La Quinceañera, al igual que sus damas y chambelanes, papas y padrinos deberán asistir a unas PLÁTICAS requeridas.
• Tiene que hacer una junta con el Padre 2 meses antes de la fecha para hacer preguntas o dudas que tenga.   
• Que la joven, papas, damas, chambelanes y padrinos reciban el Sacramento de la Confesión antes de la ceremonia para que puedan recibir dignamente la Sagrada Comunión.

De preferencia que los Chambelanes, Damas y Padrinos sean Católicos, pero no es necesario.
